Dr. Sasha Hamid graduated from CMCC in 2006 and is a Senior Associate Chiropractor with CURAVITA Health Group in Ottawa, Ontario. She is passionate about promoting the chiropractic profession, increased access to care and healthy living for all Canadians. Dr. Hamid is also a member of the OCA and CCA where she volunteers in the area of government relations, a provincial and national advocate for MSK health and awareness and regularly represents the profession in the media promoting MSK health and public education programs in Ontario. Dr. Hamid was voted National Capital Fit Day People’s Choice for Best Chiropractor in 2012 and a Forty Under 40 recipient for the National Capital Region in 2018.

As a clinician I rely on the latest best practices, clinical guidelines and up-to-date research to aid in providing the best possible MSK care for my patients. The opportunity to serve as a CCRF board member and become more involved with the research side of our profession can help shed light to my colleagues, and the public alike, on the importance of Chiropractic Research in the fast-evolving field of MSK healthcare.
